Undurba State School provides an integrated and inclusive education for all students to be enabled to learn at their level, which may be higher or lower than their peers at different stages of their educational journey. This commitment ensures every student does a year’s worth of learning for them, every year and is able to reach  their full potential.

We have a highly skilled Learning Access Team led by our Head of Learning Access (Ms Jen Graham) who collaborate with class teachers, work as a team with class teachers for the delivery of FRED (Focussed Reading Every Day) and NED (Numeracy Every Day) for all students and design specific customised programs to ensure all students access inclusive, best practice support and learning interventions. Focussed and intensive teaching and other programs are used to maximise learning. Learning opportunities include access to digital technology for all students and assistive technologies where appropriate.

Our school has a Student Well-being and Support team which oversees our inclusive education framework and provides a comprehensive case management process for students requiring extra support. We work with families to provide the best program and support for each child.

At Undurba we also collaborate with visiting Education Queensland speech pathologists, guidance officer, occupational therapists and physiotherapists and other support agencies like the Montrose CP league, Family Child Connect, Neighbourhood Centre, Sporting Wheelies, local doctors and other specialists and health professionals to help us develop and implement support programs for our students.
