Undurba State School greatly values the contributions of volunteers from our school community. Earlier this year we conducted compulsory volunteer training for parents/carers who are interested in volunteering in some capacity in our school. This training now needs to take place annually to ensure that all volunteers are aware of their responsibilities regarding the Department of Education's guidelines for volunteers. If you were unable to attend the sessions in person, but would like to volunteer, you need to view the session that was conducted, read the associated document and complete the declaration page at the end of that document, confirming that you have understood, and will follow, all of the expectations. This declaration page then needs to be returned to the school with your name, your child/ren's names and classes written on the bottom of the declaration. If you require the document to be emailed to you, please advise your child's teacher. If you are not a parent, but another relative, you will also need to apply for a volunteer's blue card to be able to volunteer at school.
There will be further documentation to be completed once this training has been finalised. This will be sent to you via email upon receipt of your signed declaration. Thank you for your contribution to our Undurba community.
